As a guy it is unsettling finding a place to get your eyebrows done. What is worse, an overgrown unibrow or waxed eyebrows that make you look like a girl? Neither is a problem at Sugar Me! If you've never tried sugaring....try it!!! I just started waxing this year and more recently switched to sugaring at Sugarme. It's less painful than waxing and so much better than shaving! The shop is clean and super cute - I'v been going to Tray my last few sugaring's and she's super nice - I almost forget that she's ripping out my leg hair! =) – Erin R.

Oh my science, I can't say enough how much I love this shop. I went in today for my first brazilian at Sugar Me with miss Kate. She was so friendly and adorable and immediately made me feel at home. The service was fast and the pain was very mild. Just what you want out of a brazilian. ;) The price was awesome, and maintenance is cheaper than the initial service, PLUS she gave me a punch card, so after 5 brazilian waxes, I get 1 free. Amazing!

No one wants their hard earned post-menarche hair ripped brutally from its cozy little follicle, but sometimes a girl wants to wear a bathing suit without looking like a neutrino climbed in her bottoms.
Sugar Me is in my neighborhood and so I decided to give it a try. Kate is the kind of person who makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of despite the very obvious awkwardness of having a complete and total heterosexual stranger stare at and remove hair from my nether regions. She's adorable and has great bedside manner. I suggested she start an OB/GYN waxing store so that you can just run in there for an annual AND a bikini wax.
Ok and here is the best part (other than that the shop is adorable and Kate is adorable and the punch card): July is free panties with a bikini wax month. I am not kidding. I walked out that joint with an adorable pair of boy shorts. Deal of the century. – Tanya B.

Sugaring is the way to go and Sugar Me is the spot at which do get it done. I just tried Sugar Me for the second time and, once again, I am super-satisfied. The hair I wanted removed is gone, there was no hot-wax mess and I had no skin irritation post service. On top of all that, Kate (the owner) is a legend! I have been here twice now and can't wait until it's time to go again. I have seen Tray both times and she couldn't be nicer and more fun to talk with while you are getting treatments done. I have tried the normal waxing places and while I have nothing against them there is something great about getting "sugared".
The place is very cute with lots of fun things to look at (and purchase). Both times I have gone in any of the staff who has been there has been very friendly and they are super accommodating when it comes to booking appointments.
It might sound a bit strange at first but I highly recommend it! – Katey

I'm never going to buy a razor again thanks to Katie at Sugar Me! I've had brazilian waxes before, and this was SO much less painful, sanitary, and sustainable. Katie made me feel at ease and is great to chat with. She is proud of her business and with good reason. So I don't live in Portland but was recently up there visiting some old friends and apparently for this day, playing chauffeur as well. My friend had mentioned she wanted to try this place out as they heard it was a great alternative to waxing. By the end of her visit she could not stop raving about how amazing the treatment was and how completely awesome Katie (the owner) is.
The shop is apparently pretty new but Katie's professionalism with everyone there was impressive and even in my brief conversation with her I could tell she really enjoys and loves her work. Even though I didn't get any work done there, my visit left enough of a good impression on me to make sure I put in some good words for Sugar Me on yelp. I can not walk into this adorable little shop without spending an hour chit-chatting with the fabulous staff!!! A friend invited me to the grad opening a few months ago and I agreed to try out the services. I had no idea what "sugaring" was but immediately fell in L.O.V.E with it. Much like waxing but very, very gentle on the skin. I am super prone to break outs and irritation so I entered as a skeptic...was pleasantly surprised .
Prices are very reasonable. The boutique portion has lots of "pretty's" made by local artists. (I love that about this place, that they support the local artists)
WARNING: If you try it out...you will be hooked. The few times I have been in I hear ladies coming out of the treatment room saying..."My eyebrows have NEVER looked this good!" I give this place 2 thumbs up! – Megan B.

I love that she is such a multi-tasker and a great conversationalist. Carrying on a convo and being face to face with naked lady parts is not an easy job. Sugar Me!! This is an awesome new locally owned business offering natural hair removal. It was my first time getting sugared, but I will definitely return. My legs and underarms were left smooth and clean with no residue! I am excited to get more sugaring done! I've been a client of another popular waxing salon in town, and after my first time having a sugaring from Katie, I'm never going back to wax! This is the way to do it! Kate is friendly, kind and efficient. She's one of those business owners that truly care about their customers, and she is genuinely takes an interest in them as individuals.
